AkzoNobel Swire Paints (Shanghai) has awarded its China creative assignment to MullenLowe Group China for its upcoming new product launch, Dulux Bio-Care.
AkzoNobel is the largest global paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals, including the well-known paint brand Dulux. Dulux launched the ‘Let’s colour’ project a few years ago, a global marketing initiative which called communities around the world to cover dull public spaces in bright colours.
Commenting on the appointment, Victor Huo, Marketing Director, Deco Paints China and North Asia said: “Dulux acts as a catalyst to renew people’s lives, both emotionally and physically, by bringing new colour to every renewal moment in life’s journey. In the new assignment, we are expecting to reach a new level with the agency’s in-depth understanding of creative communications.”
Richard Tan, Chief Executive Officer of MullenLowe Group China noted, “We are delighted to embark on this exciting project with Dulux and look forward to working with the AkzoNobel China team to drive the brand to greater heights.”
MullenLowe Group was appointed as the global marketing creative agency partner for AkzoNobel Decorative Paints earlier this year. The global business is managed from the MullenLowe Group UK office, with key regional support from local MullenLowe offices for global brand strategy and creative communications.
